WINDOWS:
1. Right Click Note Pad
2. Run as administrator
3. Click Open
4. Navigate to your primary hard drive ( C

C:\system32\drivers\etc\hosts
5. Open the "hosts" file
6. The instructions in the hosts file are self explanatory
7. Without a # on a new line type the IP address you want and then the URL
8. Make sure you save the file (not as a .txt)
Your computer will now go to the IP address you specified for that page instead of the normal one.
MAC:
1. Open finder
2. In the menu bar select GO> Go to folder
3. Type in " /private/etc/hosts " and press return
4. A new finder window will shows your "hosts" file. Drag and drop it onto your desktop
5. Now we can freely edit the file. Double click the file.
6. The instructions in the hosts file are self explanatory
7. Without a # on a new line type the IP address you want and then the URL
8. Make sure you save the file (not as a .txt)
9. Drag the hosts file back to it's original location at /private/etc
10.When prompted about the changed file click "replace"
Your computer will now go to the IP address you specified for that page instead of the normal one
